EDEN CHEN
pianist
Eden Chen is a classical musician who creates new possibilities from the fragments of modern life.
By using music to synthesize disparate pieces of culture, he renews creativity and curiosity for a richer life in his listeners.
His work includes "Paradise Lost," a mythic epic that combines surrealist art with the Liszt sonata; "Lullaby and Signature," a duo of jazz-inspired songs that respond to technological threats using Bert Meyers' poetry; and the upcoming album inspired by science fiction film Solaris, "Second Chance Stars," exploring memory through Ravel's music and original Ryuichi Sakamoto arrangements.
He empowers audiences to see the wonder that permeates disconnected moments of everyday human experience.
